Suprimavera Art and Sustainability

These are pictures taken in the Orinoco river of a Yanomami indian in his natural habitat. Hopefully he is still able to retain his identity as one and retain the natural environment he lives in. He may not be able to speak our language or even have clothes to wear but his spirit is clearly happy and belongs to nature. This was taken 10 years ago.

Sustainability has been at the top of the global environmental agenda for more than a decade, but an understanding of ecological responsibility is only now beginning to have a visible impact on society and culture.
